Unison Vineyard was established in 1992 on the North Island area of Gimblett Gravels.
A small, family owned property, it is a combination of traditional and modern winemaking techniques, with European style planting and hand-crafted products.

Best known as the anchor of ITV’s ‘The Wine Show’ and the forthcoming ‘Drinking with Joe and Maya’, Joe has fascinating understanding of the mundane, but nonetheless important, nuts and bolts of the industry, not just how wine’s made and what it tastes like.
3. Ollie Horton, Wine Shop & Tours, Lanzarote, Canary Islands.
Ollie is the founder of Wine Shop Lanzarote, having set up the tours side of the business in 2017. The island has been his home away from home for 30 years in which he’s witnessed first hand the growth and challenges of producing wine on this very dry island.
2. Tor Petter W. Christensen, Aurora Spirit Distillery, Norway.
Aurora Spirit is the worlds northernmost Whisky distillery – situated on the edge of the Arctic Circle in northern Norway. Tor Petter W. Christensen is Founder and CEO and explains how he went a successful business career, to a successful and pioneering distillery owner.
1. Weidong (魏偉東 ‘Ricky’) Wei, Dong-Ye Distillery, Changsha, Hunan, China.
Weidong Wei is the founder of Dong-Ye, a whisky distillery in China’s Hunan province who will produce one of China’s first single malt whiskies. I had the pleasure of catching up with Weidong to hear more about his plans and inspiration.
